Arbab Niaz Stadium is a cricket stadium located in Peshawar, Pakistan. It is named after Arbab Niaz, a former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The stadium has a seating capacity of approximately 20,000 spectators.
The stadium has hosted both Test and One Day International (ODI) matches. The first Test match at the stadium was played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in 1995, while the first ODI was played between Pakistan and West Indies in 1984. The stadium has also hosted matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The Arbab Niaz Stadium has undergone several renovations and improvements over the years. In 2005, floodlights were installed at the stadium, enabling day-night cricket matches to be played. The stadium also has practice facilities, including several nets and a bowling machine. The stadium is considered to be one of the better cricket venues in Pakistan, with good facilities and a lively atmosphere during matches.
