Hot Air Balloon Festival in America
One of the most Photogenic Events of all time
The wait is over, prepare yourself for an amazing lifetime experience. Mexican balloon fiesta is one of the admired festivals, where within hours sky gets filled with colorful hot air balloons. And this festival is expected to last for 1 whole week. Sightseers from all over the globe are invited to attend this year's festival.
New Mexico City
Mexico has a diverse culture enriched with colors, art, myths, etc. Their cultural festivals are anticipated from all over the globe. 550 balloon pilots have registered to fly this year, Spectators have gathered from all over the world to attend these festivals. A specially shaped balloon caravan that often involves famous cartoon characters will be followed over the next 9 days. This is one of the most photographed events of all time.
Event Highlights
Last year's festival included 8 million bystanders. Nighttime events were organized, and hot air balloons were inflated to the point that they were stuck to the ground and lit up. Fireworks were arranged for the spectators. Competition is planned where skilled balloon riders will race to the finish point back to the same point where they begin, the biggest challenge is the wind which hurls from the opposite side and breaks riders' pace. This year’s weather forecast is clear, which won’t be a problem, not like last year when rain went off and on and left the place soggy.
